Is anyone seeing the following symptoms:

When starting the Windows Management Console, a CLR error messages is thrown, and the program won't start:

WebGuiInterface.exe - Fatal Error
CLR error: 80004005
The program will now terminate.

In addition, the call history and queue manager services won't start (failed to start in a timely manner). No other event log entries other than the failure to start.

Approximately 27 updates installed overnight, including a number of security updates for the .NET Framework.

Running on windows 2003.

Would be interested to hear if anyone else has this problem.

Re: Windows Management CRL Error with latest windows updates

Thanks to the help from Michael Borg, we identified a .Net Framework issue was the root cause - presumably caused by the Windows updates released by MS for June.

A repair of Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 SP1 fixed this problem for me.
