CODEC questions please....

I have 1GB fiber internet at my office, so bandwidth is no issue.
I want the highest quality VOIP calls that I can get.
My SIP trunk provider allows for the OPUS CODEC.
Is that the best CODEC to select?

Does OPUS sound better than G.729?

G729 is going to be the least quality. Use either G722 or OPUS. Keep in mind that not all carriers support all codecs, and that would force the PBX to trasncode or fall-back to an older codec.
