Compatibility with Windows 2008 R2 Beta

Hi,

I appreciate that this is only in beta at present but I wondered whether anyone has tested 3CX with this release of Windows Server 2008 In the next 2/3 days I should have access to a Hyper-V VPS.

It would be good to know whether this is likely to work easily or will require a lot of work.

Hi,

I'll answer my own question. Seems that Server 2008 R2 beta 1 is not compatible. It fails to install for me. Gets almost to the end of the install process and locks up.

A workaround for me was to install the Hyper-V VM as Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2003 then it worked.
