Hello,

We have multiple 3CX instances in different geographic regions, which work in bridge mode. They are on premise, running 18.0.5.418.
Is it possible to create a conference call between them, using the bridge trunk, without going out via the SIP provider and establishing an international call?

I see there is an option to call a DID and directly to be transferred to the Conference call but this goes via the SIP provider trunk, not between the bridged 3CX instances.

Thank you in advance.

The simple answer is yes, the conference extension is 700 3 digit or 7000 4 digit, if you have a dial code to go over the bridge you would need to dial that as well, example bridge dial code is 5, for conference call 5700x from the bridge, any local callers would just dial 700x

Hi SnakeRiverWeb,
Thank you for the advise! Works great, indeed. The Outbound rule prefix did the job.

Initially I had configured the bridges without Outbound rule prefix, because it prepends the extension number in the contacts phonebook as well, so it shows wrong extension.
Yes, they can browse the phonebook and just tap on the contact and call him/her. But there are cases for example that the other party informs them (sends them an email) with the extension that they see on the desk phone, so the caller dials that number and the call will not be performed.

To resolve that case I created additional Outbound rule that will work without the Outbound rule prefix.

Thanks a lot again!

Testing the conference call feature and it works quite well and another question appeared.

If a user creates a conference call by dialing 7000*ID*PIN for example 7000*1*123456 a conference is created and users from the same 3CX instance can connect by dialing 7000*1. But users from a bridged 3CX cannot connect directly to that conference call by dialing 97000*1 if we assume that 9 is the Outbound rule prefix in the 3CX bridge trunk configuration.

Have someone managed to accomplish that task?

Solution: Creating Outbound rule with prefix 97000* to be routed via the bridge accomplished the task.
