Hello,
Im attempting to connect an extension on a clients system to my own yealink T46G handset that is configured in account 1 for my office 3cx . Each 3cx (16.0.2.910) system has unique URL and IP's, my office uses an SBC and is the primary account, I have tried second extension on clients system configuring manually under account 2 with STUN as well as adding a second SBC in my office that shows as connected to clients system. I would like to be able to setup a new ivr and need to make recording on the system. I have been able to have two accounts on a yealink handset when one is asterisk and one is 3cx, wondering if its possible with two 3cx extensions registering to unique 3cx instances.

If you need this just to record voice for IVR, don't do this like you try. Add this second extension on your smartphone App and record from there, this is done in five minutes just scan Qr code to set this account and enjoy.

I did try that route but even with my new Galaxy S10 my call quality doesnt cut it with the app. 3cx is so slick with provisioning that I ended up just re provisioning my office phone for the clients instance.

Use Google TTS or Amazon Polly to create IVR audio files? It generates the voice based on text you enter. I did that for mine and it is pretty good.

Frederick, good idea, it would naturally lead me to finally getting some good hold music going!!

TTS isn't for music. Only voice.

However, there are plenty of royalty-free music libraries online.

You can generate wave files with TTS to import to 3CX?

Amazon Polly web UI generates MP3 which you can convert afterwards.

I used https://github.com/eheikes/tts which is easy to setup and can use both services. I personally prefer Google TTS for the clearer voice and more choices. And this tool can export directly to .wav

I've then used Audacity to merge files together since I had to switch languages sometimes which can only be 1-language-per-file.
