Configure door release buttons on Fanvil X5U for Fanvil i30

Hi,

I am struggling to work out how to configure BLF keys to act as door release buttons on the reception based Fanvil X5U.

When I look on the Fanvil i30 door phone there is not option to set a remote password, which I believe is needed to program the button.

Is this supported?

Hello,

Firstly, keep in mind that depending on the model there may be multiple passwords for door release. See Note1 https://www.3cx.com/community/threa...-run-fine-with-fanvil-i20s.81403/#post-375984

You cannot assign a "release key" from 3CX as far as I'm aware. Normally the guest has to press the bell, you answer the call, then you manually dial the password on your phone's keypad which opens the door.

If you want to customize it otherwise you will have to look into the Fanvil documentation, and see what options they provide you for blindly opening the door with a dedicated "Open" key.
