I have a client that I've been creating holiday events and they've been working just fine. When they call, the special holiday message plays as expected.

We've since upgraded to V16 and now those holiday messages don't play. I've tested this functionality on other v16 installations and they DO WORK. So it is isolated to this one instance.

I've got this installed as using the linux VM supplied by 3CX.

I need some help!

-Ken

Are they recorded in the correct format?

Also do you have the option "Play holiday prompt when it's a global holiday" enabled under the trunk settings?

I am having the same issue.
"Play holiday prompt when it's a global holiday" is ticked for each in bound rule and the recording is correct. I can't even get the built in officeclosed.wav to play.
the system continues to route calls to the out of hours destination

Did you configure the holidays while you were in the holiday duration or before hand? If you configure for example a holiday for today that lasts the entire day it will not trigger as you are in the holiday duration. You will need to restart services to trigger the change.

Bro you solved my issue. I didn't have the "Play holiday prompt when it's a global holiday " ticked on my inbound rule! Well done sir! -Ken

Thank you Matt Hood for the great tip! You definitely solved my issue!

I wonder why it worked before the upgrade then...

Hi Yiannis, I configured the holiday on the day the holiday message was to start, but the start time for the holiday was 2 hours ahead of when it was configured.
I also rebooted via terminal with no change.
As this was a last minute request from a client for a public holiday, i will test again and see if the problem continues.

Perhaps like i've got on V16 upgrade on windows PC , in scheduled backup the restore process loose some settings and recreate default backup task and at first time backup is done you loose all your previous file because default is a daily 1 backup rotation. 3CX said it was a bug in restore process only on windows side.
