This guide is based on the configuration needed to setup your phone when you are in the range of a specific 3G network.

Ensure that you have created the extension that you wish to use with the phone in 3CX Phone System first. Take note of the ID field and the password that you have entered for the extension.

Configure your Nokia mobile phone as per the manufacturer manual for web browsing. Once this is confirmed you may proceed to configure the Internet Telephone and SIP functions of the phone.

In “Profile name” enter “Remote 3CX”, move down to “Service profile” and choose “IETF “. Proceed to “Default access point” and choose your 3G provider.

In the “Public user name” field enter your extension@external ip from your 3CX server (Example: [email protected])

In the “Use compression” choose “No” and under “Registration” choose “Always on”. For the “Use security” select “No”.

In the “Realm” field enter “92.108.100.253”, move down to the “User name” field and enter your extension (example: 100), followed bye the “Password” and enter the password of
your extension.

Moving down to “Allow loose routing” choose “Yes” and in “Transport type” select “UDP“ and “Port” should be set to “ 5060”

Navigate back one step and move down to the “Registrar server”.

In the “Registrar Server” enter the external ip from your 3CX server (example: 92.108.100.253)

In the “Realm” field enter “92.108.100.253”, move down to the “User name” field and enter your extension (example: 100), followed bye the “Password” and enter the password of your extension.

What is the speed of your 3G-provider?....

I used it as a wifi not gprs

If this not working try to reconfig. your 3CX server - start with:

Check firewall, ports, nat and bandwide

(1.) Extension (ext. 100-799)
(2.) IVR (ext. 800)
(3.) VoIP provider
(4.) Outbound rules
(5.) DID/DDI (if necessary)
