Hi people! I want to configure a X-Lite in a notebook as an external extension but without using VPN.

The server where I run 3cx is behind a D-Link router connected through a DSL with dynamic IP (But I have configured it with DYNDNS also if I need to get the IP).

Anyone could help me how to configure it in both sides? In 3cx as also in the notebook.

Thanks

1) Make sure port 5060 is opened inbound on the 3CX server. You could turn Windows Firewall off.
2) Forward port 5060 in the router to the server
3) Make sure port 5060 is opened outbound on the X-Lite computer (some virusscanners close the port)
4) Configure X-lite with your dnsdns hostname. If that doesn't work try the IP-adress.

Thanks for your answer and help! And how should I configure the extension in 3cx?

Juan
