Hello,
I am looking for some advice on what device needs to be purchased to connect our 3CX cloud PBX to a SIP trunk provided by UAE based telecoms provider in our office.
I am aware that there are no 'supported' providers in the UAE, however due to compliance regulations, we are bound to use a UAE provider in order to have UAE based numbers.
We are hosting our 3CX server in Azure using the 3CX provided marketplace image and have IPSec VPN connectivity from Azure to our Dubai based office.
(We have an existing ISDN phone line and are using a Mediatrix 4400 gateway to connect this to 3CX - It works well, other than we cannot see the called number on 3CX, only the trunk number.)
We have a new SIP trunk which has been installed, but the provider has told us that the equipment they provide cannot be configured with an IP address within our office network, and route traffic to our PBX (on a different subnet.)
Ideally I would like to know which device we need to sit inline to act as an SBC / VoIP gateway, to perform registration on the SIP trunk and route traffic back and forth to our PBX. Most of the supported options from 3CX I can see seem to be for analog lines, so don't want to spend on something which will not fit the needs.
Many thanks in advance,
Niall
