Hi Team, we have a cisco infrastructure in the client.
Meaning previously Analog lines connects to Cisco Voice Gateway > CUCM.
we were wondering if t's possible to also connect CVG to 3cx and removing CUCM in the picture?
So like, instead of FXO, we will used CVG to bridge the analog lines to 3cx... is this possible?

As far as the 3CX system is concerned this would just be configured as a generic gateway and work just like any SIP Trunk. You may need to do some tweaking to make this work for caller IDs, routing etc, but it is doable.

do you have any documentation that you can share for these tweaks that we need to do ?

The document for configuring a generic gateway is https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/configuring-voip-gateway/

You would need to know SIP well enough to know the SIP fields and how they are structured. You would need to do this on the gateway itself. The CallerID control fields in 3CX are under the options tab of the trunk created.

Hi Nicholas, so it's more of configuration on the Gateway that needs to be tweaked.
attaching also the gateway config, removed the Passwords
