Before I jump in to setting up a SIP connection, I would like to connect my 3CX system to the OOMA box I am currently using.
Since I plug an analog phone into that box to get service, I am assuming that it is a FXS port.
To connect to OOMA box from 3CX (since a native SIP connection to OOMA isnt an option), the question I have is what type of port to I connect to the OOMA box with?
Since I am assuming the OOMA box is using a FXS port, would I need something like the Grandsteam HT813 since it has a FXO port on it to connect to the OOMA box?
Figured that a FXS port wouldnt be able to connect to another FXS port that I would need to use a FXO port instead.
Will appreciate any suggestions or corrections to my assumptions.
