Connectwise Manage - Desktop app - TAPI

Has anyone managed to get it so you're able to click to call numbers from the Connectwise desktop app?

if so, can you tell me how?

Tried that. In desk phone mode. i get an incoming call from make a call but it says call transfer failed and it doesnt ring to the recipient.

In softphone mode it just hangs. No incoming call or outbound.

The log files in "%AppData%\3CXPhone for Windows\Logs" might tell you about any error in softphone mode. About the first case, you should check the 3CX Console > Dashboard > Activity Log, in order to understand why this call to the destination is failing. Maybe there is no outbound rule to apply to this call, and that causes the failure...

did an uninstall and got it to work in the app. Still having issues using it on web. Same exact issues as reported here

TAPI is not available in the Web Client at the moment.

Are you having the problem of Skype being launched when you want to call?

web client I kinda figured out and just using the click2call. Downside is it wont open the notes to create a time entry.

This morning i had it working from CW to 3cx app to make a call while in softphone mode but now it broke again. I honestly dont get it. Removed and reinstalled, rebooted. Very frustrating. Nothing is consistent

If you enable the server side integration with ConnectWise, when the call ends, the call activity will be registered for the contact.

In order to troubleshoot this, we need t see the log files from folder "%AppData%\3CXPhone for Windows\Logs".
