Contact list on Snom D785

Hello,

I've already read that the integration of the contact list is very very basic in 3cx. What a bummer!
Even though I have a question and haven't found a solution in the forums.
The global contact list gets synced to the phone. Only the cell phone numbers. OK, basic implementation.
But when a user wants to save another contact directly on the phone e.g. because he wants to remember the number of the caller this is not possible.
I can save a contact and the contact shows up in the list, but when the phone gets reprovisioned or looses power the contact is gone.
Is this "expected behavior"? Would lead to frustration for many users who aren't aware of this..

Snom FW 10.1.54.16 and 3CX is up to date

Yes, the contact list is synced from the PBX.
YOu can use the web client to create a personal phonebook as well. and they can search through the personal and company contacts as well.

With the Web/Softclients all works fine.
But there are users who use desk phones. And I meant saving a contact on the desk phone.

Also: is there a way to display the personal contacts on the desk phone (snom) aswell?
When someone saves a contact on the Windows-Client it is saved to the personal list aswell so that would make sense. Also because not everyone has the permission to edit global contacts.

No, with the phones only the global phonebook is shown.
