Solved Conversion of an asterisk (*) to a number

Hi Team.
I need to call a number with an asterisk example *12344
the sip provider tell me to do conversion instead of (*) to 1222

how i can do it?

So you need to call the number and prepend the number 1222 instead of an asterisk? You can do so by prepending 1222 in the outbound rules of the PBX.

Here is a guide on how to create an outbound rule and manipulate the number to suit your needs.

In short you can create an outbound rule from the outbound rules tab and use the prepend option to prepend the number you want in front of the dialed number.

You have the rule set to remove 4 digits, which will remove the * plus the first 3 digits of the remaining number. You also have it set to recognize the numbers as 8 digits long (including the asterisk), is this the correct length? Your example was shorter.

If the rules accept a * as a first digit, then it would be... numbers starting with *, 5 digits in length (assuming all numbers are the same length), strip 1 digit, and prepend with 1222.
