Crafting 7940 dialplan

I installed 3cx and it is much better than I anticipated. I previously had an SPA9000 that was not always reliable. Anyway, I have 2 spa922 and a cisco 7940. The spa922's I have functioning dial plans that auto add a "1" in front of a number that I dial. Dialing 1 + area code + number is rather annoying. How would I set up a dial plan for the 7940 to auto add a 1 in front of the number dialed?? Thanks.

Is there any particular reason why you should want to dial a 1 in front of the number, 3cx is made to auto detect what number your calling and send it out according to your outbound rules. If you put 1 automatically how do you want to dial other extensions? Unless they all start with 1..

try it:

Create an outbound rule as follows:

prefix: 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9
Strip digits: 0

Delete any other outbound rules.
