Creating Custom Reports (15.5)

I have a need for a couple of custom reports that I would like to generate via PostgreSQL via the database.

Examples:
1) Print a list of extensions and the voicemail status
2) Print a list of extensions with a list of the types of phones and their MAC address

Any one have any sample SQL or ideas how I can do this?

I tried to use voicemail.enablevm but it does not change as expected. Cached?

If you have spent any time at all on the forums, you know accessing the database directly is strongly discouraged and could cause your PBX to be flagged as unsupported. That said, sometimes there is no alternative. Happily, in this case, there is an alternative. You can query the 3CX Call Control API to get this information. I urge you to take the API approach rather than accessing the PostgreSQL database directly. This is the only supported way of getting this information. Without diving into the API, I suspect voicemail is a property on the extension object, and phone and associated MAC addresses are probably under devices.

Thanks for the direction to head. Accessing the DB directly was a last result because I did not know about the API. I will be looking there next. Thanks!

You want the Call Control API, not the Windows Plugin API. Yes, Pro and above.
