I know it's been brought up already in v18, where the workaround is to use the management panel. Since that won't exist, in v20 will the new admin panel allow for creating a user with a specific extension number? For instance we're onboarding a client whose existing ~50 extensions are all between 450 and 550.

Glad to have found this...decided to try to stand up a new server with the new admin portal and was nearly instantly stumped! Reverted to the old mgmt panel and finished up. DId you wind up finding out any info?

Not a lot of info about v20 yet. The admin panel in v18 is rather limited still so I thought I'd ask.

Another way in v18 is to import the new extensions.

Not being able to set specific extensions would discourage switching to 3CX, so hopefully there's a way.

Would seem like a missing feature? Surprised I didn't find more about it but only tried searching a few different ways. Has it always been like this in the new admin panel or something wonky in the latest release?

The new web client based admin panel has always been very limited compared to the management console. On Free/SMB there is no management console so those accounts needed something, essentially. Features have been added over time. In v20 it's supposed to just have the one, so hopefully everything will have moved over.

Has anyone got a test upgrade to V20 and know if this has been implemented - quite high importance for us both on extensions, ring groups and queues etc. We section our schools up into number ranges within our 3CX system, so this is something we'll need - looks like we may be able to work around extension numbers with import of CSV potentially, but can't see a work around for ring groups.

You can specify ext numbers in v20
