Hi,

I am using the built-in MySQL CRM integration and the call journaling is working fine (other than missing the call id/ call reference from the CDR...:( ).

The chat journaling however doesn't seem to be working. I am on the hosted system so not sure if I can get to the verbose logs so not sure how to debug currently.

I've even setup a basic table for testing and set the SQL statement in the 3CX UI to this:

INSERT INTO test (`mycol`) VALUES ('ABC');

I am not seeing anything being inserted though running the SQL manually I am getting the row added to the DB.

Any ideas please?

Hi. Been through that as have the call journals working. Just the chat journal is not :)

Hello @jhankreii,

Are you selecting the "Dealt with" option in the chat? That's what triggers the chat journaling.

Hi @edossantos,

I have tried that as to see as well as I figured and still not getting it. Doesn't work for RESTful scripts either currently. Stopped looking for now as we are on the beta version of the software so presumed it was a bug.

Thanks

What version of 3CX are you running? Chat Journaling has been added in Alpha 5 (build 18.0.0.1608). I would recommend you to update 3CX to v18 final and check again.

If the issue persists, please enable verbose logs from the 3CX Console > Dashboard > Activity Log > Settings. Then reproduce the issue and check the 3cxSystemService.log file, where you will see any issue reporting the chat conversation.

I am using version 18 build 1880. I'll have a look at the logs and come back to you. Thanks

What's the SQL statement you're using for Chat Journaling? It should be something like this:
SQL:
INSERT INTO chats (subject, contactnumber, contactname, email, agentextension, messages, chatstarttime, chatendtime, chatduration) VALUES('3CX PhoneSystem Chat Session', '[Number]', '[Name]', '[Email]', '[Agent]', '[ChatMessages]', '[[ChatStartTimeUTC].ToString(^^yyyy-MM-ddTHH:mm:ssZ^^)]', '[[ChatEndTimeUTC].ToString(^^yyyy-MM-ddTHH:mm:ssZ^^)]', '[Duration]');

From my original post.

From my original post.
Well, this basic SQL statement should work, so if you're still not seeing the data in your database, there is some other issue. I would recommend you to enable verbose logs, reproduce the issue and check the 3cxSystemService.log for further information.
