I am working on a CRM-Integration for a customer and I tried to get it work with the Template Generator. What I would like to achieve:
1. Looking up the Caller-ID in the CRM-Tool
2. If not found in CRM => look up the number in a public phone book
As I understand the concept of CRM integration I need a template with 2 scenarios. The first would be the CRM-Integration and if that doesn't get a contact from the CRM go on to second scenario. The second scenario would be the lookup on the public phone book. Obviously I don't want to open the ContactURL in the second case. And I also don't want to generate a new Lead or Contact everytime someone new calls (so I could open the new CRM item). I don't expect it to work precisely as I want, but I ask you to consider my points in future developments:
Please don't make the ContactURL mandatory. Or at least add another attribute for configuring if the ContactURL shall be opened or not. I know there is a setting in the webclient for deactivating opening a contact, but it is not the same.
