CRM Template Generator Installing Problem

CRM Template Generator not installing. When executing it open and close suddenly without install. Tried on another PCs, some work and some not work. Anyone facing the same?

Do you see any error during installation? Does the installer complete the installation?

The installer generates a log file:
%temp%\3CXTemplateGenerator_install.log

Can you check that file and see if there is any hint?

Notice that first time I tried double click and nothing happened. After I tried run as administrator and appears a screen that closes suddenly.

Sorry, the installer just logs until:
AppSearch. Searching for installed applications

And nothing else. So it seems the problem is when the installer tries to search for installed applications...

What operating system are you using? What Windows version? Is it a 32 or 64 bits Windows? Do you have a previous version of the tool installed?

I am using Windows 8.1 64 bits. I had a previous version installed but I removed before install the new one.

Can you login as administrator and run the installer? I mean, not with "Run as administrator", but login with the administrator account.

Seems to be a more general problem with this Windows installation. Please try with this tool, maybe it finds something:

The 3CX Template Generator didn't appears on list. Without success...

It would be interesting to see if you can install something else. Try installing another free program, like 7zip, of Filezilla FTP client, just to see if you have the same issue.

Yes, installed 7zip with no problems.

You mentioned that you could install this in a different machine. Go to that machine, copy the folder "C:\Program Files\3CX Server Side CRM Template Generator" to your machine, and use the tool from there. The installer just copies the files, there is no special action needed, so just copy the files and you will be able to use the tool.

Working now. But every time that I run he tries to update without success. Very strange, but now it's working.
