CRM Template to Google Contacts

I would like to have 3cx search our Google contacts just simply to return the contacts name based on the phone number. From reading other posts on this subject, it is possible using the CRM generator and the Google People API. In looking at the Google People API documentation, it says we first need to send an empty query in order to update the cache. Is it possible in the CRM template generator to put this empty query in, wait one second, and then send the actual query? Or will this require some custom coding? Thanks.

You will need some proxy script in between. 3CX can send multiple requests one after the other but there's no way to have it wait, it all happens very quickly.

A simple PHP script should be able to do it for you tho!

Thanks for the quick reply. I think this will be above my pay grade. If anyone would like to shoot me a message with a quote to write this script and tell me where to put it, I would appreciate it. I can follow instructions on where and how to put it together, but I don't know the code needed to make this happen.

A small PHP script can be hosted on many things. Either a VM, a hosting server, a website hosting or even some cloud platforms like Heroku could probably do it (some even for free.)
