CSR For SSL During Install

Hello,

I am working on installing a trial of 3CX on Server 2012 R2. During install I see an option to import a valid SSL certificate but I see no way of generating a CSR during the install to upload to the CA to generate the certificate. How do I go about doing this so that I can use a valid cert for the install.

Hi Alex,

The 3CX Phone System installer does not generate a CSR file, but you can generate a CSR file for the server the 3CX Phone System is going to be running on to get the .pfx from the CA, which you will then be able to use in the 3CX installation.

If you need help generating the CSR file, best if you contact the CA you are dealing with for instructions.
