Custom Caller ID

Hi, to all

I have read various posts about caller ID issues with
3cx, e.g http://www.voipstore.com/how-to-set-3cx-caller-id/
I have a question though.. Is it possible to set a
custom caller ID for a PSTN line which is connected
to 3cx through a Linksys SPA3102 pstn to voip gateway??
If so, how can this be implemented? I'm still using
ver. 8

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

No, unfortunately. On PSTN lines, as with GSM gateways, the outgoing caller ID is determined by your provider, only they can change it. You can, on outgoing VoIP lines, if the provider allows it.
