Custom logo screensaver disappears as soon as it appears

I wanted to know if any of you have encountered this issue.

I'm trying to configure a screensaver for different clients with their company logo. However, if I set the screensaver timeout from the IP Phone section on 3CX to, say, 1 minute, then after 1 minute the logo I selected appears and disappears 1 second later. Shouldn't the logo remain displayed until the user presses a button? If I set the timeout to 30 minutes, the logo will display and then disappear immediately… So we can just disable it and it won’t cause any issues, but still, in my opinion this feature doesn’t work properly on 3CX, we can’t deploy it for our clients and meet their request.

Have you ever encountered this?

Are you using supported phones with the latest supported firmware? What phone model are they?

Yes I am using Yealink T42s and T53 with the latest Firmware. The issue is the same on every phone I have tested so far

Hi,

Those devices, and more generally all Yealing with monochrome screens, only show the screensaver for 3 seconds and then go to their idle screens, with the screensaver popping up every 15-30 minutes again on some models.

That is a manufacturer default, which we do not touch. You can contact them directly for more info on the reasoning for this.
