Custom provisioning link

I have qustion about custom template for provisionig?

Is anyone try this, if phone ftom remote office register throught vpn connection to 3cx?

I setup extension manually but not work functions for maintenance

When I in extension set local provisioning, and copy link and insert in phone provisioning text box, and change local ip address in provisioning link on vpn ip address in provisioning link, phone provisioning all parametar perfect but in server address insert local address because in extension setup on 3cx set local address

Can I something change on 3cx or add template for provisioning with vpn address?

Does the provisioning link have the 3cx server ip address or fqdn ?

if ip address , it should work out of the box.

If fqdn, you need to setup spilt dns at the phone end to point to the 3cx server address https://www.3cx.com/docs/creating-fqdn-split-dns/

you could change the ‘select interface‘ to use ip address instead of fqdn under phone provisions. Save the setup, go back in and the provisioning url will be ip address

Hi, you need to check your vpn routes correctly, firstly can you access the 3cx on the remote site using the internal IP address of the 3cx, secondly can you access the phone web interface from the local land of the 3cx

REMOTE LAN 192.168.100.0/24
PHONE IP 192.168.100.100

Tests - Remote LAN accessing 3cx https://192.168.0.10:5001
Local LAN accessing http://192.168.100.100

If your VPN is setup correctly (and can also pass multicast) then the phone should appear just like a local phone on the same subnet. You can then provision it from the management console without any custom templates. Besides, the custom template would not solve the problem you describe.

It sounds like your vpn connects 2 sites, but each site is on a different IP range.
