Is there a way to configure a BLF Custom speed dial to have a pause/delay in it's operations?

Say I want a phone to dial Ext 101.....then after three seconds or so dial "00" without having to press any additional buttons....can that be done via a Custom Speed Dial BLF? If so, how do you denote the "pause" in the PBX for that extension?

The only way to do this is with a set that is able to store the number, and after the pause, send the digits as DTMF. While analogue sets will send all digits as DTMF (before and after the pause) I'm not aware of a VoIP set that will do that. Someone else might.

SIP, like your mobile phone, sends all digits for the call, at once. If you then insert a pause, the remaining digits must be DTMF, as the original digits have been sent in an Invite already.
