Customized template to enable Fanvil X305 "Help" button.

Hi,

I'm trying to create a custom template to be able to configure the X305's "Help" button.
The 4 speed dial buttons are configurable via BLF config, but no config option for "Help".
Anyone know how to get this done?

It does state:
In addition, the X305 is also equipped with a wireless transmission function based on the 433MHz frequency band, which can be used to seek help in emergency situations with the HELP button.

This will mean that the HELP button, is NOT a speeddial button, but an 433MHz paging button.

Would be a great question for Fanvil support to be more clear, on how to configure the button.
Once you have the 'setting' to add the button to the config file, you would be able to add this to an phone Template in the 3CX.
As you may know, this is not supported by 3CX.

That Fanvil manual is confusing...
If you want to put in the effort, you could try to find the add/correct setting yourself.

With the browser goto to the webpage of the phone and login (3CX has the password).
Add some speeddial to the HELP key, example "1111111111".
Goto page System - Configurations, do an export of the config in XML and find in the export file the number ''111111111".
This is where you will find the setting name.

With this information, go to the 3CX and create a copy of the existing template.
Modify it with your HELP button setting, and save.

Goto the 3CX account, copy MAC, and delete Phone from the Extension, then re-add the MAC phone again with you own/new template.
Re-provision the phone, and all should work.

Again, this is not supported by 3CX.
