Cyberdata device does not show in dropdown menu

When trying to add Sip paging adapter to a hosted system when I click add phone like the instructions say there is no option for paging device. It is there on a self hosted server that I also manage. So my question, is it just not possible on hosted to set up or am I missing something?

Some devices are not supported for hosted systems. We only support them as local devices when the 3CX system and the device are on the same LAN (ie. you need an on premises 3CX system instead of a cloud system).

If you already have this paging adapter and want to use it, you can try to manually configure the SIP account into it, but you need an SBC to act as a proxy. The 3CX SBC is mandatory for connect any hardware SIP phone device to a 3CX hosted system.

There are other models you can choose (Fanvil PA2/PA3 for example) that can work remotely over SBC using a hosted 3CX system and are fully supported in case you don't want to configure your existing paging adapter manually.
