Hello,

I just installed a 3CX v18 self hosted with the Debian ISO, but during the final step I have a DB error:

System.Exception: Error in CreatingCloudServerManagementDatabase.sql: Exception while connecting ---> Npgsql.NpgsqlException (0x80004005): Exception while connecting ---> System.TimeoutException: Timeout during connection attempt at Npgsql.NpgsqlConnector.Connect(NpgsqlTimeout timeout) at Npgsql.NpgsqlConnector.Connect(NpgsqlTimeout timeout) at Npgsql.NpgsqlConnector.RawOpen(NpgsqlTimeout timeout, Boolean async, CancellationToken cancellationToken) at Npgsql.NpgsqlConnector.Open(NpgsqlTimeout timeout, Boolean async, CancellationToken cancellationToken) at Npgsql.NpgsqlConnection.<>c__DisplayClass41_0.<g__OpenAsync|0>d.MoveNext() --- End of stack trace from previous location --- at Npgsql.NpgsqlConnection.Open() at PostInstall.DBConnection.get_Connection() at PostInstall.DBConnection.ExecuteScript(String sqlQuery, IDictionary`2 parameters) at _3CXCloudDBManager.DbConnectionExtensions.ExecuteScript(IDBConnection connection, Object configurationStructure, String scriptText, Boolean asResourceName) --- End of inner exception stack trace --- at _3CXCloudDBManager.DbConnectionExtensions.ExecuteScript(IDBConnection connection, Object configurationStructure, String scriptText, Boolean asResourceName) at _3CXCloudDBManager.CloudDBManager.CreateCloudServerManagementDatabase(IDBConnection superuser, CloudServerManagementDatabaseConfiguration configuration) at PostInstall.SetupExecutor.CreateCloudServerManagementDatabase(CloudDBManager cloudDbManager, DBConnection templateConnection) at PostInstall.SetupExecutor.CreateDatabase(Action`1 stateChanged) at PostInstall.SetupExecutor.ExecuteSetup(SetupSettings setupSettings, Action`1 stateChanged, Action`1 errorNotifier) at PbxWebConfigTool.PbxSetupService.CreatePbxInternal(SetupSettings settings)

Any idea about this message ?

Thanks.

To get a bit more info on this:

• Did you use the latest 3CX v18 ISO as downloaded from the partner/customer portal?
• Is the host a physical or virtual host? If virtual what Hypervisor are you using?
• What are the host's specs? Is it compliant with our hardware requirements?
• Is this a brand new configuration or did you try to restore a backup?

Yes, i used the lastest version downloaded from the portal
The host is virtual, using ProxMox
The specs are compliant with the Small Linux 3CX PBX
It's a new configuration.

I already done 2 installations with the same specs without any problem.

Thanks

Regards

It may be compliant in regards to specs but I'm afraid that ProxMox is not a supported Hypervisor and therefore has not been tested so I can't say for sure what might be the issue here.

Our Hardware Requirements guide actually contains a list of supported virtualization platforms so I'd first recommend trying to switch to one of them on this same physical host and check if that makes a difference.
