Solved Debian for 3CX updates

Hi,

New to 3CX. If you are using the Debian for 3CX iso does the appliance update the base Debian OS as security patches are released or do you have to manually admin apply patches to Debian.

Hi,

Our updater takes care of the OS security updates along with the PBX and its dependencies.

Generally, we do not advise to update manually as this may force certain package updates (ie. to the database server) that are not compatible or have not been tested by 3CX, and could damage a healthy instance.
