Default Ringtone does not apply to external calls

Good morning. I wanted to see if there was a way, short of using custom templates and therefor being unsupported, to set the external ringer via 3CX on yealink T42/46 phones. It's lovely that I can set the default ringtone in 3CX but this doesn't apply to external calls (the type of calls that are generally going to ring in the most anyway) so its not particularly useful.

It's a real management headache to have to manually change this on the phones, only to have it overwritten next time the phone provisions. There is definitely a spot in the provisioning file for setting the external ringer as I've done this before but I don't want to make this change in the template at the cost of becoming unsupported.

Are these phones part of a ring group by chance?

Theres still no possibility without the use of a custom Template. Same with Snom....

@Marcel Odermatt Thank you that is what i thought. I have deployed the custom templates, I guess i'll just switch them back temporarily if I ever need to call in to support.
