Delay when taking call from ring group

There is a delay of 1 or 2 seconds every time my users are taking calls from ring groups. You have to wait until you say hello, otherwise you will not be heared.
Some users report that they have those delays on normal calls too.

What type of sets are you using? All one type experiencing the issue?
Are they on the same LAN, or remote?
Did this issue just start, or has it been happening from the initial install?
If it started recently, what changes were made at that time? Network, firmware, upgrades, etc. ??
