Delayed Dialing Using 3CX Softphone via SBC

Good Morning,

I have two SBC sites that when I dial using CTI mode from the 3CX Softphone, there is a delay of a few seconds before the number starts to show on the phone and even when it does, it's still slow. I am using Yealink T21. Any ideas what this could be?

Hi Alexander,

I guess the question is how long the delay is (as you should expect a slight one in CTI mode).

If it is a while maybe consider tailing the logs (if SBC is on Linux or Raspi) and see if it picks anything up.

I would also consider checking the local machine you have the soft client running on. Have you got antivirus or Windows firewall running and the latest updates and .NET framework?
