HI all, I've just switched from asterisk to 3cx which I find is alot more user friendly when making changes although I have a few issues which I havent' found the answer to by searching. When I receive and incoming call from my pstn line to any ip phone( hard or soft ) The line will stay connected even after the caller has hung up. It ranges from 2 to 3 minutes after the person has hung up. My SPA3102 still says the line is connected as does 3cx. On hook voltage is -45 and off is -6V.

here's my log:
08:17:31.718 StratInOut::onCancel Call(C:8): Call from Ln:10000@Spa3102 to 999 has been terminated
08:15:06.687 CallLegImpl::onConnected Call(C:8): Created audio channel for Ln:10000@Spa3102 (192.168.2.11:16470) with Media Server (192.168.2.10:7020)
08:14:51.578 CallConf::onProvisional Call(C:8): got response from 100
08:14:51.546 CallConf::onIncoming Call(C:8): Incoming call from Ln:10000@Spa3102 to sip:[email protected]

You will also notice it doesn't forward callerid info but i'm still learning.

Keep up the good work 3cx.

Hey Dave

welcome to the forum. Have a look at your Voice/PSTN line/
tab and scroll down to the PSTN Disconnect Detection subsection of the page. I don't know exactly what to suggest . But have a look at
Detect Polarity Reversal
Detect PSTN Long Silence
PSTN Long Silence Duration
fields as well as the rest of the fields in that subsection. I am still trying to figure out how to eliminate this problem, but I am positive the answer must be hidden somewhere there.

I know this is not an answer but it could be push in the right direction.

Dave,

http://www.dayboro.biz/Downloads/manuals/

Is the latest manual for the combination of the spa3102 with 3CX. Not a complete product yet.

It can be a range of things, but start with the obvious ones like the call progress tones work your way from there, it is most likely in your regional settings, or in the PSTN Disconnect Detection section like suggested by support.

Comming from an astrix world, you know howto fiddle :-).

Let me know if you have any further troubles.
