Hello,

I ran into an issue this morning where an old instance of my 3CX system has taken over the primary FQDN address, taking the place of the fully built system. Is it possible for me to delete the other, old instances of 3CX so that my correctly setup instance re-claims the FQDN? The instance I need is currently accessible, but only by its IP, rendering our phone system useless until I can get it corrected.

Thank you for your help!

Start by going into the old one, Settings -> Network and set IP to Dynamic and save.

Then, just delete the old instance and reboot the new one. The new instance will send it's IP to the FQDN DNS Server and in 6 hours (or 5min for Enterprise), you will be able to access it again.

Note that the new IP should be accessible through it's public IP in HTTPS, even if the FQDN doesn't resolve yet.
