Deployment for RDP

What is the proper way way to deploy the 3CX softphone in an RDP environment? Are there any documents for reference?

Primarily, is the 3CX softphone client loaded inside the user profile on the RDS server or locally on the desktop? All of the applications for which we need 3CX integration are inside the RDS session. And is Remote-FX required or recommended?

I've had customers use 3CX client in a terminal sever and they had no problems controlling their STUN desk phones.

Hi @netservicesgroup

You will have to test this yourself and see how well it works. I predict that you will have issues with RemoteFX, your USB headset is not seen by the RDP VM until you connect to it and the user will have to ensure they launch the Windows App after the session is established otherwise you will get complaints for no audio.

Or you can use the Webclient instead, and forgo the Windows app.
