Deployment of 3CX on Premise

Would it be possible to spin up a 3CX on-premise system at my office to preconfigure the necessary users?

I will then create a backup, remove the 3CX installation from our office environment, reinstall it on-site using the client's PC/VMware environment, restore the backup, and continue using the same license.

Of course.

Just be mindful if you set any IP restrictions and such, best to keep this off until you're at the final place.

And do make sure the old PBX is off/gone.

You may encounter an issue at site where you cant restore the backup because the PBX version is out of date.

If this happens, set it up as a new PBX with your license, run updates then import the backup and restore.
