one of my clients users has 2 deskphones at 2 different location.
his "3cx for windows"-app is set to CTI mode.

he is currently at location A, and can make and receive calls.
there is also a deskphone at location B

when his extension gets called, the phone at location B does not ring, the one at Location A does ring.

is this due to some priority setting?

(this is a simple question, no troubleshooting required)

Not really, they should both ring so you might need to look into it, especially if the device that's not ringing is provisioned as STUN.

both are provisioned as STUN.
both are "visible" in the Phones tab of the PBX.

there's currently no rush, as the devices are also EOL, I was just curious.

Thanks for the info though!

You're welcome!

Do bear in mind that, if you end up having to troubleshoot this you might want to consider the fact that If both are STUN and you're using CTI, what should happen is a "Make call" to the IP Phone even if you're placing an outbound call. If this is not happening and instead the IP Phone is directly calling the number you specified in the App, then this may be an indication that something's not configured correctly with STUN.

That said, what you should check first is that both STUN IP Phones are configured correct.

Let us know if you need anything else.
