I am trying to get rid of the red triangles and updating auth ID and passwords.
However, on my Yealink phones, the triangle remains, and I can`t find the "Deskphone Password" anywhere in the 3cx console or in the Yealink console.

If anyone might know what this is/where it is, it would be appreciated if you could let me know.

Extensions ==> double click on desire extension scroll down to Authentication tab ID is username, click on the eye symbol to view the password for the desk phone.

Can I ask which phone are you trying to setup, you don't need to manually configure phones 3CX can auto provision them for you.

If you have provisioned the phone via 3CX and not manually - Click on the Reprovision tab, and it should update the phone password and push out the config to the phone.

Sorry mate, I think you are asking for login password for the yea link after the phone is provisioned, my last post i pointed you to the extension password. If the phone is not provision then the user is admin and password is admin

If the phone is provisioned then the username is admin and the password you will find under Phone tab of the 3CX management council. Press the password button to make them visible and copy the password for the phone from the column phone password see image attached.

Saqqara,
Thank you.
This fixed it.
I was thinking I would need to generate a new 3cxconfig file like I do for my softphone clients, but it appears I don`t.
Thank you.

Click the extension and press the "regenerate" button to refresh credentials. This will a) give your accounts complex passwords compliant with 3CX and b) send out a welcome email to the extension user giving them their new credentials c) get rid of the red triangle.

Great. That worked perfectly.
Thank you
