Dial 0 to reach operator internally

Hosted by 3CX system V18 Update 8 (build 917). Is there a way to enable extensions to dial 0 to ring what would be the operator extension.

I have searched everywhere and I can see where it is done for on premises/self hosted but not hosted by 3cx.

For other systems it mentions SIP caller ID set to 0 (which you can do on hosted by 3cx) then going to Settings/Network/Direct SIP but I can't see the Direct SIP option anywhere as the Network options isn't available in settings unless it is somewhere else. If you only set the SIP ID to 0 it doesn't work

I don't want callers to go to an auto attendant or anything like that, just dial 0 and the relevant extension rings. we are using 3 digit extension numbers for extensions. I am also aware that they could have blf button but they only have a few buttons to be used for other things.

For the user extension that will be performing the functions of the "operator", edit the extension, select "options" and set the SIP ID to "0"

The OP is saying that enabling SIP calling isn't an option in Hosted By 3CX (I can confirm the entire network tile is missing). It's a parameter that can be enabled during install for service/hosting providers, it gives also makes a special login that can manage just these parameters.

@louivoip I would contact 3CX to see if this can be enabled.

No I asked same thing since months and CEO said it could be added in future but since it was the "security period" so this went to the cave and recently it seems to me CEO change it's mind to say NO about this on hosted.
Not sure if I resume it finely but in the big lines i'm in.
So for now , for sure , no way to do this on hosted 3CX.

I'm afraid not. This is not an option with 3cx hosted. The SIP ID for the user's extensions settings is available but the option under the settings to enable this global is disabled.
