Solved Dial by name not working

Hello,

I've tried multiple things on different extensions, and I can't get the dial by name to work.

I did this step on 3 extensions to test the dial by name, and it does not work.

1) Set up a Digital Receptionist with the Dial by Name option in it.
2) Put a name and surname in each extension's settings.
3) Go to each extension's voice mail option 9 and 5 and record their full name as the self identification message.

Does anyone have an idea?

The the extension voicemail prompts, I do not see the .wav file, is that normal?

I got it resolved, it actually required the message to be saved, it was not clear in menu, since it's in french.

Hey @Edo-JV,

If you are referring to the Self Identification message then yes you are correct, it must be recorded and of course saved. The fact that a self identification message must be recorded is also mentioned in our training material regarding the Digital Receptionist in slide 6:
