I am running the latest version,15.5 service pack 6
No custom templates
All extensions are part of the same ring group
All extensions running latest firmware
Dial code in the settings is accurate (*20*)

When an extension in the ring group is on a call and a second call rings in, that already in progress call can be hung up and the second incoming call will not ring to that extension while all others in the ring group will. I should be able to dial *20* and answer the second inbound call from the extension that wasn't ringing. I have deployed multiple instances and have never ran into this problem.

Please advise.

do you have the option "Perform receptionist operations on active calls group members (divert, transfer, pickup) and user control functions like set status, set reminders (wake-up call), Assign and Clear extensions (Check-in/out)."
checked in your user or group rights?

Check and see if "Limit Call Pickup to Extension Group" is enabled in the General Options of your PBX settings (Settings -> PBX -> General Options). If it is enabled, disable it and test to see if it resolved and vise versa.

Hmmm I am not sure that will be my issue as it is not enabled but I can try to enable and disable it to see if that helps. Thank you!

Also make sure that the right "Perform operations (divert, transfer, pickup)" is enabled for the extension and try again.

I do have that enabled on all extensions in the ring group. I don't believe this is making a difference in my situation but I could be wrong, this is installation is not connected to the internet. There are features that obviously won't work properly without it but I don't think this feature would be one of them.

IIRC
Without internet, 3CX goes into free edition (needs a constant connection to activation.3cx.com)
BLFs used to (still are?) a paid feature, maybe dial code pickup is as well?

Someone else check and confirm this?

Phone system has a perpetual professional license. BLF keys are included in the standard edition. I have resolved the issue with manually upgrading firmware. Silly me!
Thanks everyone for their help!

did you upgrade the firmware on your physical phone? what phone model, if you don't mind.

For this particular install, I used yealink T27Gs. Before I deployed the system I had the host connected to an internet source and downloaded all updates. After, 3cx was telling me that the phone firmware was up to date. I then got firmware directly from yealink (which was more recent than what was in 3cx) and manually upgraded the desk phones.

Glad to see the issue has been resolved and thank you for updating the thread with your solution
