Dial Extension with call menu

Hello! I want to be able to dial an extension with my virtual receptionist. how would I do this? Step by step is appreciated as im not the best at this

I don't understand. Are you asking if the caller can dial an extension from an IVR? If so the answer is yes, you just have to include something in the announcement along the lines of "If you know the extension you wish to speak to please dial it now".

Yes that was my question, but when I type my extension (10) it will rout it to my sales department which is 1

Are you testing by dialing in from an outside number rather than dialing the IVR from 3CX?

edit: I've just tried it dialing internally and it seems to work both ways for me

edit2: make sure you don't have any pauses when you dial and make sure it's during the anouncement
