Just a quick pointer, took me a while to find this out. If you have a site with an IVR/Digital Assistant and you dial the extension that exists at another site via a Bridge you will get a bad extension error unless you go to Troubleshooting->Parameters-> search for IVRNOCHECKFORDN and set it to 1

Makes sense, in that an extension, over a bridge, is, in essence, an outside call and this may be seen as a security issue. From what I recall, from other posts, attempting to send an IVR selection off to an outside number usually (in the past) entails the use of a "dummy" extension with call forwarding enabled. It would seem that once a number is dialled, 3CX attempts to look up the existing extension locally (not sure if it also looks for a match in SIP IDs) before attempting to route the call elsewhere.

Please note that this is not recommended because by doing this, anyone who contacts the IVR can dial an external number as long as the digit length matches the bridge extensions. For example if you have a digit length of 3 someone could dial emergency numbers like 911 from the IVR!!
