Dialing an external number leads to PSTN

Hello all,

I'm trying to configure 3CX (free edition currently) with MP-118. Done good so far; I'm able to call PSTN, forwarding and other features work well. My testing platform is:
- 3CX and MP-118 on the same network.
- Extension 100 on 3CX soft-phone.
- Extension 101 on FXO port of MP-118.

I can use all the features from ext 101. However when i try to call 101 (FXO) from 100 (soft-phone) it tries to dial PSTN instead. Soft-phones can call each other. Or i can call from 101 (FXO) to 100 (soft-phone).

An FXO port is not meant to have a telephone (extention) on it. For that you should be using an FXS port. The FXO port is where you plug in the phone LINE (the one with dialtone) that you will datafill as a trunk for incoming and outgoing calls to the PSTN.
