DID Routing - Great Confusion

I have set up 3CX with one VOIP provider, one SIP line, two DIDs and two extensions.

The plan was to to route one DID to one extension, the other DID to the other extension. However, all calls are always routed to the first extension.

Is this because of the extension I have (had to) provided in the SIP setup (under "Route inbound calls ...").

What am I missing? How can I have 3CX ignore the general ring numer from the SIP setup and override them with the DID routing?

Any help is appreciated ...

Did you setup the DIDs individually in 3CX?

This may be part of the issue:

When I first setup my DIDs I set them up as: XXXXXXXXXX
(7 digit US based numbers...)

My VoIP provider delivers the CID information as 1XXXXXXXXXX
(8 digits - the 1 in front and then the 7...)

Yup, that was it. However, this smells like a big ol' bug to me, as it virtually excludes same exchange+subscriber numbers in different area codes and does not match the documentation in the first place.

I believe this should be changed to be able to match full 10-digit US phone numbers.
