I have a system with about 75 extensions and about 75 DIDs.

Some of the DID's are setup for direct connect to a specific extension
Some DID's are unassigned
About 6 of the DID's are for incoming customer service calls. All 6 of these DID's are assigned to the Customer Server Queue. (Customer Service)
One of the five (3340) is setup as the main number on the SIP trunk, the others are added on the DID page. The Default route for the SIP trunk is the Ring group (Customer Service)
if someone calls 3340 (the main number for the facility and the main number on the SIP trunk) The call is routed correctly to the ring group (Customer Service) and anyone in the group can answer in the incoming call.

But if someone calls one of the unassigned numbers, the same ring group gets the calls. I assume is it because all the DIDs are assigned to the SIP trunk.

Should I create a Customer Server department and the assign those specific DID's to the group? Seems like this would not change anything since the DID's are assigned at the trunk level and the main number (3340) in the main number on the trunk. Do I need to create a second trunk and move the DID's?

Suggestions

Default route in the trunk. Unassigned DIDs will follow that.
