Different Transcription Options on two V20 installs

I have two V20 installations both are update 4. The only difference is the first is our NFR enterprise install whereas the second is a Professional install. I read online that 3CX is only in enterprise but what happened to OpenAI Whisper? We really enjoyed the transcription from OpenAI.

3CX and OpenAI are enterprise features. We had allowed OpenAI temporarily on the Professional edition as a trial.

There are additional changes to the 3CX AI feature. In U4 3CX has implemented their own AI transcription service in place of OpenAI. The aspiration is to provide similar quality at a lower price. Right now it is free until the end of 2024.

Frankly, the difference in price between Pro and Enterprise is not very much. But, if you want to stick with OpenAI, and do not want to upgrade to the 3CX Enterprise edition, you may want to take a look at 3CX Recording Manager and 3CX Voicemail Manager. We provide additional options for selecting which recordings are transcribed / analyzed with the ability to create your own prompts. I call this feature "Ask me Anything!". Oh, and let us not forget about automated agent scoring based on the criteria you create!
