Digital Receptionist forward to external number

Hello!

how can I make my digital receptionist to connect to external numbers?

Actually I tried to create a dummy-extension which would take the calls and forwards them outside. But I do not trust this.

Hi narkumas,

As above, this is the only way to forwards the calls outside from the IVR. Could you please clarify what you mean "But I do not trust this"!

Since this dummy-extension has no client (neither 3cx client nor deskphone), I assumed the status is available and unregistered.
Therefor I have set the external target number in the forwarding rules under:
Available - External calls - If I am busy or my phone is unregistered, forward calls to:
But still it happened that external callers got a mailbox announcement...

Hi narkumas,

You can set the external target number as mobile number under extension settings and then enable the option Ring my mobile simultaneously. So, any incoming call forwarded to target number directly. In the event that, the extension appears registered and you avoid tan extra forwarding. Also with this way you can toggle between the extension status and send the call elsewhere depending on the status
